Letter seeking Scholarship Applicants

Dear Mr. Gorman,

We trust this finds you well.

You may now be familiar with the Asia Leaders Programme (formerly known as Dual Campus Master of Arts in International Peace Studies programme) of the United Nations-mandated University for Peace (UPEACE), a graduate school specialised in peace education and conflict resolution training. This is a Scholarship Programme being funded by The Nippon Foundation - Japan, which is run out of our main campus at Costa Rica and Ateneo de Manila University, the UPEACE partner university in the Philippines. In April 2009, the programme for the third cohort of scholars commenced.

We are writing to you because at this point, UPEACE would like to extend an invitation to interested parties to apply for the next intake of scholars.

We believe that many individuals within your network would not only be interested but would be quite qualified for this scholarship. We would thus like to request your assistance by disseminating the attached promotional materials within your network. For your quick reference, attached are some pertinent details of this programme.

Best Regards,
Maria Luisa
